Keiko graduated in Psychology from Antioch University, going on to complete her post-masters training at the University of Washington. She is experienced in Japan and the United States in assisting people in multicultural environments with a wide range of emotional and problems including stress, anxiety, depression, abuse, domestic violence and trauma.
Counseling and Psychotherapy in English and Japanese.
After graduating in Psychology from Antioch University Keiko went on to complete her post-masters training at the University of Washington Keiko in infant mental health and juvenile offenders issues in the United States.
Keiko's counseling and psychotherapy work is integrative in that she combines a Client Centered Psychotherapy (CCP) approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She varies her approach to her counseling and psychotherapy to suit the needs of each client and the specific problems that client is experiencing in her or his life.
Anxiety disorders, depression, major depressive disorder, adjustment disorder, crisis management, abuse, trauma, domestic violence, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), minority issues, multicultural issues, personal problems and relationship issues.
