Andrew is a British born
qualified clinical psychologist and qualified psychotherapist with over 15 years individual counseling, couples counseling, family counseling and clinical experience in Tokyo who
works in English and Japanese. His qualifications include the
Japanese Certification for Psychotherapy, registration and certification
as a Clinical Psychologist by the Japan Society of Certified Clinical
Psychologists and registration as a member of the Japan Association
of Group Psychotherapy.
His approach is as a person centered psychotherapist and he combines this with a solution focused apporach to therapy and cognitive therapy. Andrew varies his counseling approach to assist each individual client find effective solutions in their own terms to the specific problems they are facing. His experience includes working with people experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, traumatic stress, PTSD. His role as a group psychotherapist is to encourage and assist members to gain greater confidence in individual and emotional self-expression in an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere |
